Hello!
Now that you’ve got your shiny new Fuel Card, here’s everything you need to know to get started.
First things First
If you haven’t already, add your name or vehicle reg to the back of your card.
It’s yours – and only yours. Keep it that way.
Using your card
Your key to stress-free fuelling. Choose your card type for tips on getting started.
The Fuel Store Card
Unmanned Terminals: Insert your card with the chip facing up, follow any prompts, select your pump, and fuel up. Reinsert your card to collect your receipt.
Manned Sites: Hand your card to the cashier for validation before fuelling. After refuelling, provide the pump number and fuel amount, then check your receipt for accuracy.
UK Fuels Card
At the Till: Present the card to the cashier. Depending on the station, either swipe the card, enter a PIN, or provide a signature.
Transaction Details: The cashier may request the vehicle registration number and mileage for validation.
Receipt:Check and keep the receipt for accurate record-keeping.
The Fuel store Prepaid card

Shell CRT Fuel Card
At the pump: Insert your Shell fuel card, enter your PIN, and fill up as usual. Your payment is collected via Direct Debit, so there’s no need to pay at the till.
Shell Fleet Fuel Card
At the pump: Insert your Shell fuel card, enter your PIN, and fill up as usual. Your payment is collected via Direct Debit, so there’s no need to pay at the till.
The Esso Card
Unmanned Terminals: Insert the card into the reader, chip end up, and follow on-screen instructions.
Manned Stations: Hand the card to the cashier before fuelling.
Validation and Fuelling: Provide necessary vehicle details if asked. Fuel your vehicle.
Receipt: Ensure all details are correct on the receipt before leaving.
fuelGenie Card
Card Validation: Present the card to the cashier for validation before fuelling.
Fuelling: Refuel your vehicle, noting the pump number and fuel volume.
Transaction Completion: Return to the cashier, confirm the details, and sign the receipt.
Receipt Accuracy: Verify all details are correct on the receipt.
Paua EV Card
Finding Charge Points: Use the app to locate the nearest compatible charge point and check its status.
Starting the Charge: Begin your charging session using either the app or your card.
Stopping the Charge: End your charge session at any time with either the app or your card.
Finding your nearest pump
Fuel up almost anywhere.
Our cards are accepted at forecourts all over the country. Pretty impressive coverage.
Head over to our Station Finder and select your card type. Pop in your location, or your route, and hey-presto, let the map guide you!

Don’t share it. Lending it to Aunt Hilda to fuel her Mini might be kind… but it’s also fraud.
Keep it safe. Treat it like your bank card.
